The Shack is a non-profit restaurant that started out of Living Hope Compassion Ministries in 2010. 100% of the proceeds generated from the restaurant are invested in serving those less fortunate in our community. The Shack is also a vocational rehabilitation program in which homeless clients are hired and taught job skills with the funding generated from The Shack. Every time you come and eat at The Shack, you are literally investing in the lives of those who are in need in our community. You are not merely offering a “hand-out,” but partnering with us to offer a hand up! The Shack is located at Living Hope (1043 State Street, Redding, CA 96001) and is open every 3rd Sunday of the month from 10am-3pm. Come support a great cause and enjoy some great food! Bring your friends! To get involved, contact Jordan Storment at .
