EMERGE
Emerge is an eight month discipleship intensive designed to explore, discover and activate the leader within you. Emerge is about finding clarity, exploring the wonder of who you are, and courageously embracing your journey of faith and influence.
EMERGE DISTINCTIVES:
Emerge is highly individualized. We see the student as THE classroom instead of trying to fit the individual into a classroom. In each area of study and growth we seek to see the unique needs and perspectives of the student.
Emerge challenges students to take responsibility for their own growth. Momentum is intentionally created for each student to passionately pursue growth by utilizing tools designed to empower them in their unique journeys of faith.
Emerge is designed to be experienced in the context of everyday life. It is open to single people, couples, students and those with families and full time responsibilities.
Emerge gives students the opportunity to engage in a growing and thriving local church. This is accomplished through consistent interaction with mentors, fellow students, and opportunities for serving within the wider Stirring family.
YOU CAN EXPECT:
Mentoring: Each student will be paired with a mentoring group or individual mentor for the entire nine month experience. Each student will meet weekly with their mentor or mentoring group.
Formation: Intentional study related to areas of interest and needed development that best suits the context of the student’s life and realm of influence.
Encounter: Each student will participate in three retreats that are designed to develop a thriving deeper life with Jesus.
Relationship: Growth happens best in family! Each student will engage with a Tribe. Tribe is a thoughtfully created small group composed of 8-10 Emerge students and Tribe Elders.
WE EXPECT:
Teachability: A willingness to grow must be accompanied by humility and a willingness to learn.
Authenticity: A commitment to cultivating honest, healthy, wholehearted relationships with others in the Emerge family.
Investment: Emerge requires an 10 hour committed investment of your time and energy each week. It also requires a $1585.00 ($35 application fee + $250 deposit + $1300 Remaining Tuition) commitment of your financial resources that will cover the cost of all materials and retreats.
Dedication: You will get out of Emerge what you put into it. We cannot make growth happen for you! It takes an active and ongoing resolve to engage with the process. Full participation with Launch days, retreats, Tribe, mentoring and monthly gatherings is expected.
